There is a device that comes with a Nest thermostat. It connects the heating system, which is controlled by the Nest thermostat. Heat Link is installed near the heating system. When the room temperature drops below the set temperature, the Nest thermostat sends a signal to the Heat Link, which sends a message to the heating system. The Heat Link is not a stand-alone device - it is connected to a Nest thermostat that tells the Heat Link when to start and stop the heat supply to reach the desired temperature.
