DESCRIPTION
The INOX AIR Valve Sleeve is an accessory used for the manual regulation of air flows, of the DELIVERY or RETURN channels, of the AIR.
CHARACTERISTICS
• Materials Used: Stainless Steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 - L20), Stainless Steel 316 BA (EN 1.4404 - L50)
• Thicknesses: 0.5 mm for Stainless Steel 316, the use of Stainless Steel 304 thickness 0.6 mm, for diameters greater than 450 mm.
• Welding: longitudinal TIG by fusion of adjacent edges, to guarantee the seal of each individual element.
• Accessories: triple-lip silicone gasket, to guarantee the seal between the joints; locking band, to ensure tightening and continuity of the system.
Among the products offered, we also make channels in 304 BA Stainless Steel, thickness mm 0.8. In this case, the connections are made with vertical flaring machines. The female socket is nominal internal diameter, the male socket is tapered. These characteristics, not allowing the use of gaskets and bands, do not guarantee the tightness of the system.
APPLICATIONS
• Its use is intended to manually regulate the DELIVERY or RETURN of a channel intended for AIR management. It can also be used to balance the flows inside a branched smoke channel.
• This function is performed by an elliptical valve, placed inside the channel and manually adjustable from the outside through a mechanical ring nut that allows adjustment and subsequent locking, in a range that goes from 0º to 180º. Completely closed, it occludes the system, hindering the complete passage of air.
