Description
The twin wall base support plate is a static support component of a chimney system in accordance with UNI EN 1856-1 or for use in a flue.
It can serve as a base support or an intermediate support. In the latter case, it must always be combined with a pair of wall support side plates.
Features
Materials used: stainless steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 – L20), stainless steel 316 BA (EN 1.4404 – L50) and copper.
Inner wall: stainless steel 316 BA (EN 1.4404 – L50), 0.5 mm thick.
Outer wall: stainless steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 – L20), 0.5 mm thick, or copper 0.6 mm thick.
Insulation: rock wool, 25 mm thick, density 90 kg/m³.
Plate: stainless steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 – L20) or copper, 2.0 mm thick.
Welding: TIG process for fusing adjoining parts without filler material.
Belling: cold moulding with hydraulic mould and counter-mould system ensuring calibrated joints with tolerance ± 2 mm.
Accessories: triple-lip silicone gasket to ensure joint sealing; locking band to secure the joint and maintain system continuity.
Applications
Designed for the static base support of a chimney system or flue to convey and evacuate combustion products (gases and smoke) from natural gas, diesel, wood or multi-fuel heat generators.
Operation: dry (D) or wet (W)
Pressures: positive (P1 = 200 Pa); negative (N1 = 40 Pa)
Operating temperatures: ≤ 200 °C with silicone gasket and P1 = 200 Pa; ≤ 600 °C without silicone gasket and N1 = 40 Pa
