Description
• The Chinamans Hat Cowl is a component that is installed at the top of a twin wall Chimney System in accordance with the requirements of UNI EN 1856-1.
• A wide-brimmed cap prevents the entry of rainwater ensuring the free flow of flue gases and smoke, even when installed in particularly windy areas; it does not protect the system against bird nesting in spring.
Features
• Inner Wall: Stainless Steel 316L BA (EN 1.4404 - L50) thickness 0.5 mm
• Outer Wall: Stainless Steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 - L20) thickness 0.5 mm or 0.6 mm thick Copper.
• Cap and Fixture Inside: Stainless Steel 304 BA (EN 1.4301 - L20), respectively, in thicknesses of 0.5 mm and 1.5 mm.
• Welding: longitudinal TIG process for the fusion of adjoining pieces, without filler.
Applications
• Evacuation of the products of combustion resulting from wood-burning, multi-fuel, natural gas and diesel appliances. Especially indicated in fairly or very windy areas.
• For the designation of the chimney system according to UNI EN 1856-1 the following is allowed:

• Operating temperatures:
