DESCRIPTION
Interconnecting elastomers, their function is to guarantee the watertightness of each connection.
CHARACTERISTICS
• Silicone gaskets are made by molding non-toxic polymer compounds in accordance with the European regulation CE 1907/2006 (REACH).
• The exclusive triple profile geometry, directed to the inside of the lumen of each element, facilitates the quick connection of the connected elements and guarantees their sealing.
APPLICATIONS
• Their use is intended in the corresponding seat of the inner socket of each element. The smooth part comes into direct contact with the steel; the fin must face the inside of the channel. During the installation phase, the nominal diameter of the elastomers is larger than the nominal diameter of each joint. This is normal, as the typical "hump" that forms after light pressure sticks perfectly around the circumference. This is the only way to guarantee a seal during the insertion phase, avoiding damage to the elastomer.
• Operating temperature: -20°C to 200°C tolerance +/- 10°C
• Pressure: Resistance tested above 1000 Pa
• Resistance to condensation caused by chlorides, nitrates and sulphates is satisfactory according to the relevant regulations.
