Hydrant with removable standing pipe.
- The standing pipe has a custom thread that only lets you use it on Merrill Hide-drant bases, reducing vandalism and water waste.
- Doesn't freeze, since the standing pipe is intended to be removed after usage.
The hydrant is connected to water pipe under the ground, where it's intended to be used.
It's recommended to prepare a place for the water to escape, using geotextile and gravel, the geotextile won't let the gravel fix with dirt.
To access the water, you just need to introduce the stand pipe into the base, make two turns clock wise to open the water, and the third turn will allow you to orient the faucet head in the direction that you need.
