The All-In-One Heating Controller Smile controllers are ideal to gain maximum efficiency from various energy sources, such as solar, solid fuel, oil/gas boilers, heat pumps and district heating. They not only minimise energy cost, but also provide easy installation and user - friendly operation. The Smile (SDC) controller offers a portfolio of models covering different application requirements, from simple extensions (SDC3-10) up to multi-source, complex applications (SDC12-31). All types are available as wall or panel-mounted versions. Smile is suitable for use with all types of heat generators, including oil/gas/ solid fuel boilers, solar collectors, heat pumps and district heating systems. It can control two mixed circuits, a direct heating circuit along with domestic hot water and also two boilers or other heat sources. Solar applications using a twin coil cylinder can also be incorporated into the standard SDC12-31 controller. Up to five Smile controllers can be networked together via a two-wire bus, thus permitting a wide variety of different applications, dependent upon complexity. Applications can be set up on-site easily using its dial.
